A Guide to Layered Lighting for a Stylish Home

Hi in-Lite People!
While natural lighting plays a big role, the beauty of a space is also greatly influenced by artificial lighting techniques — especially the placement of lights in strategic areas.
One effective lighting design technique you can apply at home is layered lighting.
When planning your lighting, don’t just focus on how bright the room is. To make your space more visually appealing, use layered lighting, which means combining multiple light sources in a single room. Depending on the room size, in-Lite recommends using at least two to three different types of lighting.
For example, in living or dining areas, you can combine a pendant light, track lighting, and strip lights, just like in the illustration below.

For smaller rooms, you can pair in-Lite panel lights with a standing lamp placed in a corner to add a decorative touch.
